A. Dallas Martin, Jr.

1943 –

Dr. Martin is the President of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA). NASFAA is the largest postsecondary education association with institutional membership in Washington, D.C., representing more than 10,000 financial aid professionals at nearly 3,000 colleges, universities and career schools across the country. Dr. Martin serves as the primary liaison between NASFAA’s membership and the United States Congress, the Executive Branch, and the U.S. Department of Education, as well as other governmental agencies. He has led the association since 1975.

Dr. Martin received his Ph.D. in Student Personnel Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.

He has testified before Congress on student aid issues numerous times and is a strong advocate for student access to higher education.
